Generations ago winemakers discovered that including a small portion of white grapes in a red ferment deepened the colour and added complexity to the nose.The shiraz and roussanne grapes in this wine were grown side by side, harvested and fermented together, then aged in a mixture of old and new French barriques before bottling.

With all my wines I tread as lightly as I can in the vineyard and winery, letting the flavours of Tabilk 'terrior' shine through in the fruit. The splash of roussanne adds a little perfume to the nose and silkiness to the palate, making it the perfect partner to a range of pork, veal, lamb and beef dishes, cooked with love and shared with friends. It is also vegan friendly.
